Fabdec looks to London and SE for growth with appointment of new sales agency

Heating products manufacturer Fabdec is targeting London and the South East for growth, following the appointment of technical sales agency TICKLE.

TICKLE has been briefed to identify a wide range of commercial and industrial water heating opportunities, particularly within Greater London.

Headed by MD and founder Matthew Tickle, London Victoria-based TICKLE is a specialist technical sales and marketing agency in the building services and public health sectors, representing a range of leading building services product manufacturers.

Fabdec is one of the UK’s leading heating, cooling and heat recovery manufacturers, providing water heating systems for commercial and domestic buildings. The company, which is headquartered in Shropshire, has identified the South East as a key area for growth within its water heating division.

General water heating manager Stuart Doggrell said: “We have seen strong growth across the business in 2017, increasing market share in our dairy, brewery and water heating divisions. As part of Fabdec’s long-term ambitions, we feel now is the right time to invest in our operations across the South East, particularly in London.

“Despite Brexit and the weaker pound, there is still a huge amount of money being spent on new build commercial sites, as well as retrofitting existing office, industrial, leisure and residential stock. With TICKLE on board, we hope to tap into this potential and develop a robust pipeline of projects in the South East.”

One key product that TICKLE will be promoting is the unique Excelsior WXI unvented water heating range, which Fabdec launched in 2015 and features their patented 3S Technology. The revolutionary 3S Technology is the first true self-sustaining cylinder, based on an internal expansion system that greatly reduces the need for maintenance and upkeep.

Fabdec has also recently launched a pre-plumb and Hi-Flo vessel range, incorporating the 3S Technology.
